Testing and Assessment FAQs
What tests are required as part of the program?
Insight School of Oregon–Painted Hills' student assessments include:
- Lesson, unit, and semester assessments
- State of Oregon Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) testing
Do I have to participate in state testing?
Families enrolled at ISOR-PH are required to participate in all state-mandated testing, which your child can do remotely from home. Cameras are not required. This is a mandatory requirement. Please complete this form: https://forms.gle/S7wW1vYbY6zJRLx86.
You may opt out of state SBAC testing by reviewing and filling out the attached document and returning it to Online Oregon School’s Assessment Coordinator, Sheila Heino at sheino@onlineoregon.org. Please note: opting out applies to English and mathematics only: 5th and 11th graders are still required to complete the OAKS Science test.
